# Commercial Telemetry

Commercial telemetry is a separate, privacy-minimal feature and is off unless explicitly enabled in the production environment.

When enabled, the gateway may record timestamp, random event ID, utility ID, sanitized source label, HTTP status, and either a payment challenge or verified settlement. Settlement records may also contain the public network, payer address, transaction hash, asset, and amount.

It does not store request bodies, utility results, IP addresses, user agents, cookies, private keys, or payment signatures. A payment challenge is exposure to a priced endpoint, not demand. Owner-funded verification must be excluded from revenue and buyer counts.
